Stick figures explain it all for you

TO BE CONTINUED . . . .

First of all, this isn't going to be a football post. Let me just say that my earlier delight in Florida and Georgia's losses (LSU will surely move up to the #2 spot in the polls, non?) has been tempered by the realization that, in addition to worrying about playing Florida and Georgia, we now have to worry about Bama and Ole Miss, too. The SEC is just awash with teams that would be #1 in any other conference.

Now, for the serious stuff. If, like me, you've been begging your friends in the financial industry to help you understand the current crisis, you may appreciate the following cartoon a friend of mine sent. She's worked in the securities business for the last 20 years or so and swears these stick figures give a more accurate representation of what's happened than what she's been reading in the Wall Street Journal. It's pretty funny although you may find the lack of compassion for the borrowers a little tasteless. Be warned -- there is some colorful language. Just sayin'.
